Gavin is the Co-Founder and CEO of Learnosity, an award winning educational technology company that offers a suite of B2B, SaaS assessment technologies (APIs) which enable organizations from a wide range of sectors, to easily incorporate powerful, interactive assessment capabilities into any digital product, new or existing.

After a relatively short stint working as a university lecturer, Gavin had his edtech epiphany during a contract job with Australia’s Department of Education. Offended by low quality of the available edtech offerings, he decided that something had to change - the edtech user experience needed a radical overhaul.

Over the next ten years he and co-founder Mark Lynch grew Learnosity from a 2-man team operating out of a garden shed in rural Ireland, to an multi-million dollar business employing over 80 people with offices in Dublin, Sydney, LA, and New York.

While not racking up the air-miles commuting between Australia, Ireland, and the US, Gavin is renowned for his Elvis impersonation!
